"I've been pushing the #kurve agenda for years..this was shot in #2010 and i must say it was a #soldout Issue..Indeed i can say that i was 1 of the very firsts in the #UK/#African Market to #dare the impossible when it came to #emphasizing that #curveceous women too, deserved to be recognised in the fashion industry as much as their #thinner counterparts...#Period!! Wether you have Afro roots or not, you will know that #millions of women out there have #curves...so why not #embrace them...Now #Plussizefashion is everywhere..(well almost) and being #recognized and #celebrated as it should be..and for that i proud myself for being one of the catalyst who have taken part in such turn of events..
Indeed, i am eternally grateful to all those who beleived in me, and beleived in my passion, ideas and craft, yes it was hard work to convince few #fashiondesigners #fashionshowproducers etc..(the list goes on) but it wasn't impossible...however, let's not get it #twisted here..#All this wouldn't have been possible if i didn't #believeinmyself first and foremost.. #envisioning that we curvy #girls deserve to be #celebrated but also make it my business to be #vocal about it, and most importantly to #be about it...
